Our first guest was Paul O’Brian from Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Paul talked to us about Widnes Urgent Care Centre. Then we were joined by Sandra McCann & Harry Rutter from Warrington & Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who explained the work the Apprenticeships Team. Chris Carlin provided us with an update on the Well Halton project and we were also joined by Graham Newton, a Senior Pharmacist with North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Halton VCSE royalty Bob Bryant (founder of the Let’s Go Stroke Club) was the Guest Host for this month’s One Halton Health Show on Halton Community Radio with Matthew Roberts (from Halton & St Helens VCA) in the Producer’s Chair.

Our first guest was Prof Brian Cox who discussed the importance of STEM subjects with Chris Carlin from Well Halton. Then we were joined by Rachael Kane & Scott Bridge (Halton & Warrington Early Intervention Team) from North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust who explained the work of their team. Our first guests were Libby Evans & Helen Young from Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. They told us about the Halton 0-19 Healthy Child Service. Then we were joined by Helen Higginson (Head of Fundraising at Warrington & Halton Hospitals’ Charity). Helen told us about the Halton Outdoor Spaces Project and other exciting developments. In the second hour of the show we heard from Kerry Rimmer & Louise Steward. They work in the Home Assessment & Home Treatment Team at North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Finally, Torie Begg (from Sew Halton) called into the show. Torie was representing Well Halton and told us about the fantastic projects her group have been delivering.
