Dave Sweeney presented this month’s NHS Halton CCG Radio Show with Matthew Roberts in the Producer’s Chair.
Dave was joined in the studio by Dr Cliff Richards MBE & Jo Ward to talk about the CCG’s Cultural Manifesto. Michelle Forder (Halton Borough Council’s Health Improvement Team) chatted about Breastfeeding Awareness Month and Corina Casey-Hardman from Bridgewater NHS Trust phoned in to talk about their Midwifery Service.
Elsewhere in the show, Dave explained the benefits of Basic Drawing, Matt talked about the origins of the Runcorn Wrestling Academy, Graham Irwin of NHS England praised Dave’s people skills, updates were provided from the England/South Africa Test Match and the dangers of Toblerone addiction were discussed.

Chris and Matt were joined in the studio by John Hughes, Joe Lyons and Keenan Brand (from the Widnes Vikings) to talk about “Tackling NHS Pressures”. They were all joined by our usual host, Dave Sweeney who phoned in live from London.
Chris talked about the Well North project and former CCG lay member Bob Bryant gave us an update on live in Devon. Amanda Burton from Bridgewater NHS Trust talked about their “Big Conversation” and Halton CCG’s Engagement & Involvement Manager, Des Chow visited the studio to talk about upcoming engagement opportunities for local people.
