Matthew Roberts presented this month’s NHS Halton CCG Radio Show with Alex Schofield in the Producer’s Chair.
Our first guest was our much beloved regular contributor, Des Chow (05.05) from Halton CCG. Des explained why consulting with the public is important and encouraged listeners to participate in a consultation exercise about the proposed closure of Hale Village GP Surgery.
We were also joined in the studio by the brilliant Trudy Jones (22.45) from Halton Borough Council’s Library Services. Trudy talked about Books on Prescription and all the superb services provided at Halton’s libraries.
Our final guest was the magnificent Marissa Pendlebury (46.45), founder of Nourishing Routes. Marissa explained her favourite teas and biscuits, as well as talking about her work supporting individuals with eating disorders.
The team also discussed the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia with Alex and Matt making predictions about when England will go out and HCR’s James Wooding joined us to talk about his favourite World Cup songs.
