NHS Halton CCG Radio Show Podcast – 31st January 2019

Vegetables are amazing – that kind of insight is why I tune in…”

Matthew Roberts presented this month’s NHS Halton CCG Radio Show.

We were joined in the studio by Dr Gary O’Hare and Rob Foster (02.30) from R Health. They spoke about their efforts to improve services in GP practices across Runcorn. Also in the studio was Rebekah Walsh (46.20) from Halton Borough Council’s Health Improvement Team. Rebekah talked about the upcoming Fit 4 Life camps. Finally, Matthew spoke to Nicola Donoghue (01.13.25) from Widnes & Runcorn Cancer Support Group about their project working with young people (which has been funded by NHS Halton CCG).

Angelita Woosenam provided us with a 1 Minute Heart Breathing Meditation and Halton Carers’ Centre and Citizen Advice Halton sent in information. The team discussed male pattern baldness, Rob & Matthew’s dream of hosting “Cricket Match Special” on HCR and whether the lyrics to Soda by “Nothing But Thieves” were keeping with the general ethos of the show.
